Contribution to Anderson Hills Kiwanis
In honor of long-time Kiwanis member and avid sports fan / coach / referee Glen Perry, his golfing buddies made a significant contribution to Anderson Hills Kiwanis. The local club of Kiwanis International used the money to purchase a bench and plaque which was recently installed at the front door of the Anderson Park District RecPlex office on Beechmont Ave.
Mike Leyritz, a good friend of Glen’s, presented the check stating “Glen held a golf outing every year for about 27 years, and last week I continued the tradition. We had about 25 guys and decided it would be appropriate if we made donations to your organization in his honor. Glen had a lot of golf hats, so we auctioned them off.”
